The Book of Mormon

The Book of Mormon has undergone quite a successful journey, despite being a relatively new play.

After receiving universal critical acclaim, setting 22 new weekly sales records for the Eugene O’Neill Theatre, winning nine Tony Awards, taking home multiple Drama Desk awards and Critics Outer Circle awards, received the 2012 Grammy for Best Musical Theatre Album , and essentially taking Broadway by storm, the religious satire musical is now set to embark on yet another extensive North American tour.  The tour will be stopping by various Canadian venues, such as Ottawa’s National Arts Centre, Toronto’s Princess of Wales, Montreal’s Salle Places des Arts, Winnipeg’s Centennial Concert Hall, and Vancouver’s Queen Elizabeth Theatre.

The audience is restless. The actors are ready. The costumes and props are ready for action. The stage is set.
