KISS, from its origins of glam/hard rock of the 1970’s will be embarking on a World Tour in Summer 2013 to promote the release of their latest studio album “Monster” released in late 2012.

Current members of the band include Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Eric Singer, and Tommy Thayer. Simmons and Stanley are from the original 1971 Kiss band line-up. Their music is described by Allmusic as “a commercially potent mix of anthemic, fist-pounding hard rock, driven by sleek hooks and ballads powered by loud guitars, cloying melodies, and sweeping strings. It was a sound that laid the groundwork for both arena rock and the pop-metal that dominated rock in the late ’80s”.

The KISS Monster Tour 2013 kicks off in Canada on July 5 in British Columbia, Victoria, Vancouver Rogers Arena July 6, and in Kelowna July 8. Other stops on this tour include Edmonton Rexall Place, Calgary Scotiabank Saddledome, Saskatoon, Winnipeg MTS Centre, Ottawa Scotiabank Place, Toronto Molson Amphitheatre, and the Bell Centre in Montreal.
